first I'd would like to say that I'm really grateful and impressed with this project and the active community here.

It seems I have a similar problem, though I'm not entirely sure. I tried connecting an Philipps MP70 to a windows 7x64 laptop with the simple OpenIce Setup. Here are my exact steps:

1. Connecting both devices as described in the Setup
2. Starting the supervisor with Domain Id: 0
3. Starting the Device Adapter Category: Serial, Device Type: Intellivue. I left the IP Address field blank, not sure if this is correct?

The Connection State doesn't change "Connecting (initializing RS-232 to UDP adapter)". My log reads similar to what was posted above: http://pastebin.com/VKrYXC0M

Regarding the Simple OpenIce Setup: I read somewhere that the software uses the Microsoft loopback adapter for communication, because the DDS needs networking capabilities to share data between sender and listener? Is there anything I need to take care in terms of network adapters?
